There is a type of poverty ravaging the world, and no one is talking about it. It’s called “period poverty” - and you can stop it!

 

Period poverty is the lack of access to menstrual products, hygiene facilities, waste management, and education.

The Ida Lee Project was founded in the name of a woman whose faith helped her withstand the pain female reproductive cancers can cause. Her battle with ovarian cancer took her life but not her legacy.

Dr. Martin has also volunteered in Cameroon and Angola as a general practitioner. Her desire is to educate and treat patients that have been left behind in third world countries.

In 2023, we want to treat 100 women suffering from Cancer. Each life-changing surgery costs on average only $150. We work very hard to use your gift as efficiently as possible because the funds we raise are critical to the health and well-being of women who are suffering.
